Meusburger was recognized as “Mid-Market Manufacturer of the Year” by the B2B E-Commerce Association

Meusburger: The standard parts manufacturer becomes a digital champion
The German-based market leader for high-precision standard parts has completely modernized its system landscape. The centerpiece is a standardized B2B commerce platform that seamlessly connects all important functions – from the website and self-service portal to product configuration (CPQ) and all retail processes. Meusburger uses it to manage almost 100,000 products, supports them with configurators and wizards and provides up to date delivery times on the product detail pages.

In order to minimize risk, the architectural transformation was approached incrementally with old systems being gradually replaced. A new customer portal with order management, live shopping cart and shipment tracking went online in the very first year. Today, around 55% of total sales are processed digitally, and a large proportion of this is without manual intervention between ERP, logistics, and production. This reduces costs, shortens throughput times and makes the business model scalable.
