Workshop Host, Nadia Fischer

Nadia Fischer originally studied International Relations in Geneva, but then switched to the tech industry because she was looking for innovation and dynamic developments. Starting as Head of Marketing at a startup in San Francisco, she became a Scrum Product Owner and Business Developer at the Swiss web agency Liip. From there, she joined the leadership at PwC and built its Experience Center. Specializing in ‘agile mindset’ she consulted companies on their digital transformation.

Missing diversity in the tech industry, Nadia co-founded the tech startup Witty Works. Witty Works develops an AI-based software – diversifier.witty.works. The Diversifier lets companies detect their unconscious bias in their communication and helps them find an inclusive language. Nadia Fischer was selected as one of the Top10 Women Entrepreneurs of 2020 by Handelszeitung and the Schweizerische Kaderorganisation.

“We are not powerless against unconscious bias, and acknowledging and understanding its impact on the workplace is the first step towards creating a more inclusive environment where success can thrive.”
